Consignment

Making the decision to part with your wedding dress may not be an easy one to make! You need to decide whether to leave your gown boxed up in the hopes that you can pass it along one day or you pass on the love now and let your dress be enjoyed while it is still stylish and current.  One tip for those looking to consign their dresses, the newer and more sought-after styles will fetch better prices, so don’t hold out too long to consign if you want a good return.

What does it mean to put your dress on consignment?  
You maintain ownership of your wedding dress while I showcase your gown for you. 

We determine a fair price together based on a number of factors - as a very general rule, you can expect about a 30% return on your initial, pre-tax/alteration investment. 

I will showcase your wedding dress for a minimum of 6 months up to one year.

When your wedding gown is sold, you will receive 55% of the selling price. 

**Please note - there is a $50.00 administration fee charged to consign your dress which is paid when your dress is dropped off**

How do you put your wedding dress on consignment? 
You can contact me via Instagram or Facebook or you can send a photo of your dress via email to along with the following information to sewrenitycreations@gmail.com

1. The year the dress was purchased (ideally less than 4 years old)

2. Gown designer (if applicable) + style number (if you know it)

3. Label size (bridal size of the dress) 

4. Street size (the size you normally wear) 

5. Information on whether the dress was altered and if so, what alterations have been done

6. Original purchase price before tax (if you still have the receipt even better!)

7. Has your gown been cleaned? If not - we do offer in house cleaning services for $150.

I then make an appointment for you to come and we finalize the details, write up the contract and I showcase your wedding dress for you!
